Calcium Chloride 74% is a common chemical product, the main component is calcium chloride dihydrate.

Application of Calcium Chloride Dihydrate 74%
Due to the strong hygroscopicity and fast dissolution characteristics, calcium chloride 74% is widely used in the following fields:
1. Industrial field
– Deicing and snow melting: Used as an efficient snow melting agent, especially in road and airport runway clearance.
– Desiccant: Used for industrial drying and moisture absorption, commonly found in the dehydration process of the oil and gas industry.
2. Construction industry
– Concrete admixture: used as early strength agent and accelerator for concrete, which can improve early strength, especially suitable for construction in low temperature environment.
3. Food and Pharmaceutical
– Food additive: Can be used as tofu coagulant, beer stabilizer or fruit and vegetable fresh-keeping agent (to meet food grade requirements).
– Pharmaceutical Use: For the formulation of drugs, such as injections or electrolyte supplements (pharmacopeia grade products required).
4. Agriculture and Water treatment
– Soil amendments: Supplement calcium to improve soil structure, especially in saline-alkali land.
– Sewage treatment: Neutralize acidic wastewater and remove phosphide.
Storage and transportation
– Storage: stored in a dry, ventilated environment, avoid moisture or exposure to high humidity environment.
– Packaging: Usually packed in 25kg or ton bags, good sealing to prevent moisture absorption.
– Transport: Non-dangerous goods, can be transported according to general chemicals.
