Please refer to below table to make calcium chloride solution from solid anhydrous calcium chloride.

CAUTION: Large heat will be released when dissolving calcium chloride. Calcium chloride should be added into water slowly and keep stirring until fully disolved.
Liquid calcium chloride has a wide range of applications due to its chemical properties, below are its key uses across various industries:
1. Deicing and Dust Control
– Deicing: Liquid calcium chloride is widely used for melting ice and snow on roads, sidewalks, and parking lots. It lowers the freezing point of water and works effectively even in very low temperatures (down to -25°C/-13°F).
– Dust control: Spraying liquid calcium chloride on unpaved roads helps bind dust particles together, reducing airborne dust and improving road stability.
2. Construction and Concrete
– Accelerating concrete curing: Calcium chloride is added to concrete mixes to accelerate the hydration process, especially in cold weather, allowing concrete to set and gain strength more quickly.
– Soil stabilization: Used in soil compaction processes to improve soil stability and reduce erosion.
3. Food and Beverage Industry
– Preservative and firming agent: In food processing, liquid calcium chloride is used to maintain the firmness of fruits and vegetables, such as in canned goods.
– Calcium supplementation: Used in beverages, such as sports drinks and mineral water, to provide calcium content.
– Cheese production: Added to milk during cheese-making to improve curd formation and enhance texture.
4. Water Treatment
– Used to adjust calcium levels in water systems and as a pH stabilizer in swimming pools.
